Specialty Surgery Center
“Welcome to Specialty Surgery Center….Providing Quality Surgical Care to the Nashville community for over 20 years!”
Why Choose Specialty Surgery Center
Specialty Surgery Center is a patient focused facility that has provided a premier surgical environment for over 35,000 patients since opening its doors in 1992. Our facility meets the stringent accreditation standards set forth by the “Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc.” (AAAHC) in addition to being recognized by the State of Tennessee for providing quality care to Medicaid/Medicare beneficiaries. Furthermore, Specialty Surgery Center was the VERY FIRST ASC in the U.S. to provide ambulatory Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. In 2005, our facility credentialing was expanded to now include Ophthalmology & Plastic Surgery.
Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC’s) have transformed and reduced the cost of delivering highly specialized surgical care by creating a more efficient delivery system. Industry reports show cost savings as high as 40% for similar services delivered in a hospital setting. With escalating co-pays and difficult economic times, patients are seeking value.
